About the role
Mister Car Wash is seeking a Real Estate Development Project Manager to join our Headquarters team. This role oversees the planning and execution of real estate or infrastructure development projects from concept through completion.
Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Execution: Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and schedules for development initiatives. Oversee project milestones from feasibility through construction turnover and support construction and project closeout. Ensure alignment with business goals, regulatory requirements, and stakeholder expectations.
- Stakeholder and Team Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants throughout the project lifecycle. Lead project meetings and facilitate decision-making processes.
- Risk Management and Reporting: Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor project performance and prepare regular status reports for leadership. Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and audit-ready.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate Development, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience (4+ years).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in development project management. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Procore). Proven experience managing complex, multi-phase development projects. Familiarity with entitlement, permitting, and construction processes.
- Licenses: PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred. Real estate development certification is a plus.
