Real Estate Capital Markets Litigation Associate

About the role

Holland & Knight’s Real Estate Capital Markets practice is seeking a litigation associate to join its dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience representing clients in commercial landlord-tenant disputes, commercial foreclosure litigation, and other real estate litigation matters.

Responsibilities

• Experience representing clients in commercial landlord-tenant disputes, including preparation and service of predicate notices and court pleadings.
• Commercial foreclosure litigation experience, including but not limited to, preparation and service of predicate notices and court pleadings.
• Strong research and writing skills, including the ability to draft motions and adhere to proper NY citation formatting.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• At least 4+ years of commercial litigation experience, including motion practice, discovery (including e-discovery), and courtroom experience.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Self-motivated and organized.

Qualifications

• Large regional, national, or international law firm experience is preferred.

Skills

• Willingness to learn commercial foreclosure litigation practice.

Benefits

In accordance with the New York State Pay Transparency Law, New York City Human Rights Law, the Colorado Equal Pay Act, and the California Pay Transparency Law, the pay range for this position in New York State, New York City, Colorado, and California is $310,000 - $390,000max/yr. This range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations. An individual's actual compensation will depend on the individual's qualifications and experience.

Pay

In accordance with the New York State Pay Transparency Law, New York City Human Rights Law, the Colorado Equal Pay Act, and the California Pay Transparency Law, the pay range for this position in New York State, New York City, Colorado, and California is $310,000 - $390,000max/yr.
