Real Estate Associate (Portland)

About the role

Holland& Knight's Portland office seeks a real estate attorney with 3 to 6 years of transactional experience, focusing on real estate finance and commercial acquisitions and dispositions. Key responsibilities include title and survey review, and general deal knowledge. Experience with leasing and joint ventures is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze real estate transactions, including financing and acquisition/disposition deals
• Assist with title and survey reviews
• Provide legal advice and support on commercial real estate matters
• Participate in drafting and negotiating real estate contracts
• Collaborate with clients and colleagues on complex real estate projects

Requirements

• Admission to practice in Oregon
• Experience with leasing and joint ventures is preferred but not required
• Strong academic background with excellent writing skills

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 years of experience in real estate law
• Bar admission in Oregon
• California or Washington Bar admission a plus

Pay

The pay range for this position in Portland is $250,000 – 340,000/yr. This range may not be applicable to other locations. An individual's actual compensation will depend on the individual's qualifications and experience.
