About the role

Camping World & Good Sam is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented individual to join our Legal Team as a Real Estate Asset Manager. This role plays a vital part in supporting the management of our real estate portfolio by maintaining accurate and updated asset data including acquisition, disposition, and lease records, managing contractual obligations, coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and updated lease and ownership records, track critical lease dates and coordinate lease-related activities with landlord and internal stakeholders.
  • Abstract lease and amendment documents in electronic database (Visual Lease).
  • Collaborate cross functionally to ensure timely payment of invoices, rental payments, common area maintenance charges, and real estate taxes.
  • Prepare rent notice, insurance information and Visual Lease record for new acquisitions.
  • Support positive landlord relations by addressing inquiries, assisting with lease-related matters, and ensuring a high level of customer service and attention to compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Prepare documents and reports required for SOX compliance and other regular and ad-hoc requests related to lease and owned property portfolio.
  • Manage lease agreements to reconcile rental payments, common area maintenance charges, and real estate taxes to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Manage sublease agreements, including calculating base rent, percentage rent, common area maintenance and real estate pro rata share and maintaining insurance compliance.
  • Aid in vendor coordination by assisting with managing tax appeals company to ensure timely review of real estate taxes and assessments, collaborating cross functionally to ensure timely property maintenance, repairs, and improvements, and contributing to property due diligence efforts during acquisition, disposition, and financing activities, including research, documentation review, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, operations, and development, to ensure alignment on asset management strategies and initiatives.
  • Propose ideas to enhance asset management processes, data accuracy, and overall operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze property and financial data.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with exceptional organizational skills and attention to accuracy.
  • Basic understanding of real estate and property management concepts.
  • Proficiency at the Intermediate level in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with real estate asset management software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and across departments.
  • Enthusiasm for real estate, property management, and the broader outdoor and recreational industry.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility and strong analytic and problem-solving ability.
  • Self-motivated with a high degree of initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision and work in a team environment.

Qualifications

  • For the role, a Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in real estate asset management is a plus.
  • Knowledge of real estate and property management concepts is essential.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with real estate asset management software is beneficial.

Pay

A reasonable estimate of the current range is $33.86 - $52.01 hourly. Full-time associates are offered a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401k, and more! Part-time associates are offered access to dental & vision coverage!

The schedule for this role is typically full-time, though part-time options may be available.
