The Analyst position in Blackstone's Real Estate Asset Management team focuses on supporting post-acquisition transactions and value enhancement projects. Analysts will engage in various tasks, including financial modeling, valuation analysis, and due diligence. Requirements

• 1+ years of relevant experience, preferably in investment banking, real estate, or finance
• Strong academic record
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• A desire to work in a team environment with dynamic roles
• Strong understanding of accounting, finance, and economics
• Eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail
• Intellectual curiosity
• Good judgment
• Real estate coursework or demonstrated interest in real estate investing is a plus

Responsibilities

• Support post-acquisition transactions including restructurings, refinancing, and dispositions
• Build and maintain detailed financial models for various analyses
• Conduct real estate and public company valuation analysis
• Assist in due diligence and transaction execution under senior team direction
• Prepare materials for deal counterparties and platform company leadership
• Attend site tours and assist with legal negotiations
• Develop investment budgets, strategic plans, and asset valuations
• Track portfolio performance metrics and prepare recurring reports
• Draft memoranda and presentations for internal and external use
• Conduct market research and data analysis
