Asset Management and Real Estate Analyst

About the role

The Asset Management and Real Estate Analyst supports both portfolio performance and investment activity across our multifamily assets. This role blends traditional real estate financial analysis with hands-on asset management and operational support.

Responsibilities

• Analyze operating performance across the multifamily portfolio
• Review financial statements, rent rolls, and collections
• Identify trends, variances, and performance drivers
• Translate financial and operational data into clear insights and investment narratives
• Support ongoing asset-level reporting and portfolio analytics
• Support underwriting for acquisitions and refinances
• Build and maintain financial models and proformas
• Aid in evaluating future property and loan opportunities
• Respond to lender data requests and inquiries
• Support capital expenditures (CapEx)
• Track and analyze CapEx
• Support construction-related financial reporting and documentation
• Affirm escrow releases and draw tracking
• Ensure CapEx data is accurately reflected in financial models and reporting
• Prepare reports for internal leadership and external lenders
• Maintain clean, accurate datasets across financial and operational systems
• Perform ad hoc data analysis to support asset management scale
• Utilize Excel and other financial/IT tools to analyze large datasets and solve problems
• Collaborate with senior analysts on shared workstreams
• Contribute to the continued development of asset management and reporting processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field
• Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets
• Finance and/or real estate background preferred
• Confident analytical thinker not intimidated by numbers
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with real estate, financial, or data systems a plus
