REAL ESTATE ANALYST

Responsibilities

• Assists in overseeing the long-term strategy of the portfolio by analyzing and reviewing financial information and making recommendations on a long-term strategy for each property.
• Assist with a wide range of operating and financial projections for the development of both short-term and long-term business plans including supporting the Portfolio Oversight Committee (POC).
• Affiliate in the financial review and analysis of non-tax credit acquisitions.
• Affiliate in the financial review and analysis of property rehabilitations.
• Affiliate in the financial review and analysis of debt financings which is inclusive of debt related to acquisitions and rehabs.
• Support REDM with ensuring all initial projections are completed according to specified guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to multi-task.
• Able to work with financial concepts and perform financial analysis.
• Work effectively as a project manager when leading a project.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products including but not limited to a strong computer knowledge utilizing spreadsheet software for data analysis and report generation required.
• Must be able to read and comprehend the English language.
• Fluent in Spanish is a plus.
• Able to travel to visit existing properties, new acquisitions, or attend work related conferences. Overnight travel is likely.
