Ready Mix Driver - Concrete

General Summary

The Ready Mix Concrete Driver will operate a concrete mixer truck to deliver concrete to job sites, ensuring quality and adhering to safety protocols.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Complies with all safety policies and procedures
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area
• Operates concrete mixer truck with either manual or automatic transmission
• Calculates and adds water to concrete mix as required
• Ensures proper slump consistency upon delivery
• Communicates effectively with customers and other RMC staff
• Adjusts slump as necessary to meet specifications
• Assembles extension chutes as needed

Required Skills And Abilities

• Valid Class A or B CDL
• Ability to obtain DOT medical card and job-specific physicals
• Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and overtime
• Proven ability to work in various weather conditions

Education And/or Experience

• High School Diploma or GED
• One year of related experience and/or training
