About the role
The Reading Teacher provides literacy instruction and intervention to support students in achieving grade-level reading proficiency through assessment, differentiated instruction, and collaboration with staff and families.
Responsibilities
- Provide literacy instruction and interventions
- Monitor student progress and maintain records
- Differentiate instruction to meet student needs
- Collaborate with staff and families
- Maintain a positive classroom environment
- Participate in professional development and team meetings
Requirements
- Dual Certification: Literacy B-6 and SWD Certification
- 3-5 years of experience in Special Education or Reading
