Position Description/Qualifications
The Reading Interventionist will support classroom teachers in the implementation and evaluation of an evidenced-based, Mn Multi-Tiered System of Support (MnMTSS) for reading in grades K-3. This position is funded through Achievement & Integration and Alternative Delivery of Specialized Instructional Services (ADSIS) state aid.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Support classroom teachers in implementing and evaluating an evidenced-based, MnMTSS for reading in grades K-3.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to develop and implement individualized reading intervention plans.
- Evaluate student progress using data from FastBridge and other assessment tools.
- Provide small group and one-on-one reading interventions based on identified student needs.
- Work with classroom teachers to integrate reading strategies into daily instruction.
- Conduct progress monitoring and report findings to classroom teachers and parents.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities related to reading instruction and MTSS.
Requirements
- Must possess or be eligible for a K-6 Elementary Education License in the state of Minnesota.
- K-12 Reading License preferred.
- Completion of Mastery of an MDE approved READ Act training preferred.
- Three or more years of teaching experience.
- Working knowledge of Multi-tiered System of Supports and the problem-solving process.
- Working knowledge of evidenced-based and best practice interventions in reading at the elementary level.
- Able to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with students, school personnel, and parents.
- Able to use a variety of technology tools and programs including FastBridge, Google Suite, data warehouses such as eduCLIMBER, and instructional management systems.
Qualifications

Pay
Salary Range: $54,123 to $101,459 (pro-rated for FTE and contracted days)
Schedule
Full-time (1.00 FTE) position for the 26/27 school year.
