About the role

Join our mission-driven team at Read Better Be Better, a nonprofit dedicated to combating Arizona’s literacy crisis. We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Program Coach to support our community in achieving literacy goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to students
• Develop and implement educational programs tailored to student needs
• Mentor and guide students towards improved reading comprehension and academic success
• Collaborate with other staff members to enhance program effectiveness
• Assess student progress and provide regular feedback

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in education, literacy, or related field
• Experience working with children and adolescents
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for improving literacy rates in Arizona

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Basic computer skills including email and internet navigation
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (for part-time positions)

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Knowledge of best practices in literacy instruction
