Writing Internship

About the role

Biasly (www.biasly.com) is a political news website that specializes in providing online news to users around the world using the latest A.I. and sentiment rating technology. This internship is designed for students to apply learnings from writing, English, marketing, or political science degrees while fulfilling university internship and credit hour requirements.

The internship requires a total of 150 hours, with a minimum commitment of 10–15 hours per week, allowing completion within 10–15 weeks or sooner. Scheduling is flexible.

Responsibilities

• Write on topics including politics, policy analysis, media bias, and more.
• Participate in a writing training program to improve writing skills, including bias education through weekly surveys.

Requirements

• 3.0 minimum GPA.
• Excellent written and phone communication skills.
• Highly analytical and detail-oriented.
• Reliable and able to keep all commitments.
• Team player.
• Major or minor in English, writing, political science, or a similar field.
• Writing experience in school or elsewhere preferred.

Compensation

This is a non-paid internship. Valuable real-world experience and class credit can be earned.
