Reactor Operator

3rd shift, 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM, Oak Creek, WI

About the role

Reactor Operators focus on setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing production equipment (e.g., machining, processing, assembly, or packaging).

Responsibilities

• Set up the production equipment and supplies before executing job orders.
• Operate equipment safely and effectively for production processing.
• Ensure that equipment is maintained in good and safe working condition.
• Inspect equipment to identify any replacements, malfunctions, and repairs.
• Perform regular equipment maintenance to ensure production capacity and quality.
• Provide assistance to junior operators in their assigned responsibilities.
• Repair and clean the equipment when needed.
• Evaluate equipment performance and recommend improvements.
• Operate trucks and other industrial vehicles to transfer production equipment between warehouse and working area.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies for equipment operation.

Requirements

• Experience with forklifts.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for long periods.
• Attention to detail and reliable work habits.
• Basic computer or scanner skills.

Pay

$29.72 per hour
