About The Role We are seeking a skilled React Software Engineer to join our team supporting a mission-critical application modernization program for a Department of War (DoW) customer. This role provides a unique opportunity to contribute to the modernization and sustainment of essential applications, enhancing user experience and operational continuity. The successful candidate will be responsible for front-end development, troubleshooting, and supporting ongoing maintenance of production applications within a structured Agile environment. The project involves creating a unified platform that offers single sign-on, consistent user interfaces, and seamless integration of legacy systems into modernized applications. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, participation in two-week Agile sprints, and engagement with customer demonstrations to showcase progress. This position offers a hybrid work environment, with options for remote work within approved locations and on-site support at government facilities in Northern Virginia and Maryland. The role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in React development, front-end troubleshooting, and familiarity with release processes, seeking to make a meaningful impact in national security initiatives.
