React Developer

OperAxis is hiring a React Developer for a W2 contract-to-hire engagement with end client JPMorgan Chase and Co. This is an on-site role only in Wilmington, DE. No remote or hybrid options are available. Eastern Time zone work hours are required from day one. Relocation assistance is available where noted. Work authorization must be US Citizen, Green Card, or TN (Canada). No sponsorship is available.

About the Role

You will build modern, responsive user interfaces for enterprise financial applications using React.

Responsibilities

• Develop responsive and accessible user interfaces using React.
• Build reusable components and maintain a consistent design system.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and services.
• Optimize application performance and load times.
• Collaborate with UX designers and product managers on feature delivery.
• Write clean, testable frontend code and participate in code reviews.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
• Support Agile ceremonies and sprint planning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production UI issues.
• Contribute to frontend architecture and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
