About the Role

Essity Manufacturing Professional Hygiene North America is recruiting a 1st shift Forklift Operator based at our manufacturing facility in Bordentown, NJ. 1st shift operating hours are 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all safety regulations and practices within the warehouse to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Operate reach truck equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise in a safe and efficient manner within a warehouse environment.
• Basic knowledge of operating mobile equipment and reporting malfunctions.
• Accurately pick orders and prepare them for shipping, ensuring the correct items and quantities are selected.
• Participate in inventory counts and audits as required, using the reach truck to access and verify stock levels in high shelving units.
• Keep the warehouse and facility clean, organized, and efficiently maintained.
• Coordinate and communicate with production teams (on all shifts) about the daily warehouse plan.
• Focus on continually improving the workflow of the area.
• Ability to read and interpret the production schedule and associated documents.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or Equivalent
• 2 Years Experience operating a Reach Truck
• Basic Mathematics, Reading, and Writing
• RF Scanners & Basic Computer Skills
• Safe operation of PIT equipment
• General knowledge of Distribution, Stocking & Logistics
• Ability to safely work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Able to handle multiple work assignments and prioritize accordingly to assure completion
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
