Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive wiring diagrams, specifications and instructions either verbally or in writing
• Lay out and build machine control panels and junction boxes; install new electrical circuits and all machine wiring
• Apply thorough knowledge of electrical theory and PLC ladder logic
• Conduct service calls on new and existing machines, servicing electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment
• Use hand tools and test equipment common to the trade
• Monitor automated systems using a computer; troubleshoot the automation system using various PLC programs
• Conduct all work in a safe, clean and orderly manner
• May perform other duties as requested and work with a team
