Responsibilities

  • Develops and facilitates training materials and user training for the Baptist Health’s Physician Practices Revenue Management team.
  • Establishes and maintains excellent rapport with and respect from peers in administrative, management, and front-line team members.
  • Communicates effectively to a variety of audiences and emphasizes the importance of training and engagement to end users.
  • Develops, facilitates, and tracks orientation and onboarding for new employees.
  • Provides ongoing education and support for specialized areas within the revenue management team, including billing, AR/collections, cash applications, refunds, and contract compliance.
  • Utilizes a variety of teaching strategies to meet individual and group learning needs.
  • Engages end users in organizational priorities and team objectives, demonstrating innovation and enthusiasm.

Requirements

  • Proven EPIC experience strongly preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of physician practice revenue management cycles, or other clinical-based patient financial services.
  • Experience and expertise in providing training in a variety of settings using different technology and approaches for multiple positions.
  • Previous program development, training, and/or go-live support for billing, collections, and support teams.
  • Strong analytical, writing, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with various levels of employees and to present with target audiences.
  • Excellent computer proficiency, with EPIC experience highly preferred (MS Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently, initiate influence, and lead assignments to completion within provided parameters.
  • Prefers EPIC experience/certification, knowledge of statistics, data collection, and presentation.
  • Ability to travel between sites and provide training and support both in person and through remote venues to perform job duties.
  • Preferred: EPIC certifications and/or accreditations, professional healthcare billing certification(s), and experience.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in EOE, including disability/vets.
