- Wednesday, Friday: 5:00 – 7:00 PM
About the role
Join BehaviorCare Therapy as a Paraprofessional (RBT/BT) providing 1-on-1 support to children with autism or developmental delays in their homes during afternoon and evening hours. You’ll work consistently with the same children, helping them build daily living skills, communication, independence, and confidence through play-based ABA therapy designed by a licensed BCBA. This hands-on role allows your patience, energy, and creativity to make a lasting difference in a child’s life.
Responsibilities
- Work one-on-one with children in their homes using play-based ABA techniques to help them learn and grow.
- Follow step-by-step treatment plans created by your supervisor (BCBA).
- Track progress during each session using an easy data system on your phone or tablet (training provided).
- Collaborate with your BCBA and fellow technicians to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
- Provide feedback to families about session progress and celebrate small wins together.
Requirements
- Experience working with children (e.g., SPED Para, 1:1 Aide, Classroom Aide, after-school programs, caregiving, or autism-related roles).
- ABA experience is a plus.
- Afternoon/evening availability (weekends a plus).
- Reliable transportation.
- Must pass a background check.
Pay
$21–$26/hour based on experience.
