Hours: Mon–Fri 4:00–7:00 PM, Sat 10:00 AM–3:00 PM
About the role
Join BehaviorCare Therapy as a behavior technician (RBT/BT) and provide 1-on-1 support to a 19-year-old girl with autism in her group home. Help her build daily living skills, communication, independence, and confidence through play-based ABA therapy designed by a licensed BCBA. You’ll work consistently with the same child, making real progress in her everyday environment.
Responsibilities
- Work one-on-one with the child in her home to help her learn and grow using play-based ABA techniques
- Follow simple step-by-step treatment plans created by your supervisor (BCBA)
- Track progress during each session using an easy data system on your phone or tablet (training provided)
- Team up with your BCBA and fellow technicians to ensure consistency and effectiveness
- Provide feedback to the group home staff about the session and celebrate small wins together
Requirements
- Experience working with children (e.g., SPED Para, 1:1 Aide, Classroom Aide, after-school programs, caregiving, or autism-specific roles)
- ABA experience is a plus
- Afternoon/evening availability (weekends a plus)
- Reliable transportation
Pay
$21–$26/hour based on experience
