About the role

We’re hiring Paraprofessionals to work with children on the autism spectrum in their homes during afternoon and evening hours. As an RBT/BT at BehaviorCare Therapy, you’ll provide 1-on-1 support to children with autism or developmental delays, helping them build daily living skills, communication, independence, and confidence through play-based ABA therapy designed by a licensed BCBA. You’ll work consistently with the same children, supporting their progress in everyday environments—whether helping a child learn to request snacks or stay focused through a morning routine. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where your patience, energy, and creativity can make a lasting difference.

Responsibilities

  • Work one-on-one with kids in their homes to help them learn and grow using play-based ABA techniques
  • Follow simple step-by-step treatment plans created by your supervisor (BCBA)
  • Track progress during each session using an easy data system on your phone or tablet (training provided)
  • Collaborate with your BCBA and fellow technicians to ensure consistency and effectiveness
  • Provide feedback to families about session progress and celebrate small wins together

Requirements

  • Experience working with children (e.g., SPED Para, 1:1 Aide, Classroom Aide, after-school programs, caregiving, or autism support)
  • ABA experience is a plus
  • Afternoon/evening availability (weekends a plus)
  • Reliable transportation
  • Must pass a background check

Benefits

  • Health, dental, vision, and group life insurance for those working 20+ hours/week

Pay

$21–$26/hr based on experience

Schedule
