RBT for 12 y/o Boy (M/W/Th/Fr: 5-7, Tu: 6-8)

About the role

BehaviorCare Therapy is hiring behavior technicians (RBT/BT) to provide 1:1 ABA therapy in clients' homes for a 12‑year‑old boy with autism in Gilbert, AZ. The role offers flexible afternoon/evening hours to supplement work or school schedules, with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while gaining experience in play‑based ABA therapy designed by a licensed BCBA.

Responsibilities

• Work one‑on‑one with children in their homes using play‑based ABA techniques to build daily living skills, communication, independence, and confidence.
• Follow step‑by‑step treatment plans created by your supervising BCBA.
• Track progress during each session with an easy data system on a phone or tablet (training provided).
• Collaborate with your BCBA and fellow technicians to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
• Provide feedback to families about session outcomes and celebrate small wins together.

Requirements

• Experience working with children (e.g., SPED Para, 1:1 Aide, Classroom Aide, after‑school programs, caregiving, autism).
• ABA experience is a plus.
• Afternoon/evening availability (weekends a plus).
• Reliable transportation.

$21–$26 per hour, based on experience.

Schedule

Flexible part‑time afternoon/evening hours: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 5:00 PM–7:00 PM; Tuesday 6:00 PM–8:00 PM. Hours can be discussed to match your availability.
