Essential Job Duties
- Manage a caseload of individuals providing comprehensive services, holistic behavioral techniques, and interventions that will improve the individual's adaptive functioning in major life areas
- Provide direct behavioral educational services to individuals using a variety of evidenced-based psycho-educational techniques
- Be on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week to respond to crises
- Works with individuals one-on-one or in groups using applied behavior modification techniques
- Records and manages the individual educational and behavioral data and participates in the evaluation, assessing needs, and planning goals for the individuals
- Participates in team meetings and staff training, as required
- Provides the appropriate documentation weekly
- Connects the family to wrap-around services as needed including but not limited to; health services, recreational activities, childcare services, financial resources, employment resources, transportation resources, support groups, and other therapeutic services
- Utilizes the Clinical Supervisor or BCBA as an initial point of contact to strengthen their effectiveness in providing behavioral interventions to the individual
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related Human Service field
- Registered Behavior Technician or BCAT certification (in good standing)
- Basic knowledge of BACB guidelines
- Basic knowledge of Government and Commercial payer guidelines
- First Aid/CPR Certified
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Professional demeanor
- Knowledge of acceptable social, work, and interpersonal behavior
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year of experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, and/or other developmental and intellectual disabilities
- A Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related Human Service field
