About the role

Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) play a crucial role in our clinic-based day programs, working closely with our patients to deliver compassionate and knowledgeable care. The position involves implementing individualized treatment plans, tracking progress, and creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for each patient.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 therapy in a clinic-based day program for children with autism and other developmental disabilities.
• Implement individualized treatment plans created by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Track and record daily treatment via Central Reach.
• Absorb and apply feedback to improve performance.
• Create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for each patient.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Completed high school or equivalent education.
• Experience working with children ages 18 months to 12 years preferred.
• Willingness to be trained in ABA principles.

Qualifications

• Physical requirements: Ability to move or transport up to 50 lbs., run or walk throughout 6-8 hour sessions, respond quickly to manage behaviors, sit on the floor, stand quickly, bend or twist, maintain physical holds, hear and discern sounds, and have sufficient visual acuity.

Pay & Schedule

Starting Pay: $17.25/hour
Certified RBTs may earn up to $24 per hour based on experience and tenure in the field.

Schedule

Consistent weekday schedule (no nights or weekends).
