RBM Quality Line Technician

Position Summary

The Quality Line Technician at Rosenbauer will inspect trucks to ensure they operate correctly, examine spec books to meet customer expectations, and assist in the test pit as needed. They will also fit and finish trucks efficiently.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• Class A CDL
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
• Able to follow written and verbal directions
• Able to read and work from blueprints/spec books
• Able to identify quality issues and make adjustments
• Able to read a tape measure accurately and use basic hand tools
• Able to work with minimal supervision and in a team environment
• Ability to work professionally with customers
• Basic computer skills including typing and using basic commands
• Knowledge of all fire truck systems and functions

• Standing, walking, and use of hands throughout the shift
• Constant exposure to loud noises and vibrations from machines
• Use of feet, legs, hands, and fingers for extended periods
• Reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
• Use of knees, back, shoulders, and arms for extended periods
• Close, distance, color, peripheral, ability to adjust focus, and good depth perception
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
