Responsibilities
- Conduct routine quality inspections throughout the production process, including in-process and final product inspections, to ensure products meet established quality standards and specifications.
- Utilize a variety of precision measuring tools and inspection equipment to verify product dimensions, workmanship, and compliance with applicable requirements.
- Perform equipment calibrations, workstation audits, and quality checks.
- Identify discrepancies or nonconforming conditions and support corrective actions to maintain consistent product quality.
- Report Daily FPY (First Pass Yield) to the corresponding Supervisor.
- Investigate and document Root Cause Analysis on Quality issues.
- Conduct daily audits in various departments.
- Develop and maintain company inspection reports daily.
- Inspect products according to quality and safety standards.
- Ensure product complies with company standards as well as customer standards.
- Report quality anomalies to the supervisor.
- Identify possible areas for improvement in quality control processes.
- Document and train employees on faults and corrections.
- Ensure production is not hindered by quality testing procedures.
- Perform related duties as assigned by supervision.
Requirements
- 1–2 years experience as an Inspection or Quality Assurance.
- Understanding of basic mathematical concepts.
- Ability to use and read a measuring tape.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Outlook & Excel).
- Ability to read drawings and blueprints.
- Experience drafting reports and collating data.
- Ability to analyze and interpret technical information.
Qualifications
- High School Graduate/GED or combination of education and experience.
- High-level of visual awareness.
- Advanced organizational skills.
- Bilingual English/Spanish, preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work alone with minimal supervision.
