About the role
The Airborne Antenna Design department is seeking an RF Systems Engineer I based in Forest, Mississippi with responsibilities having significant impact, recognition, and growth in the organization. The RF Systems Engineer I will be responsible for the design, development, and sustainment of RF and antenna systems, processes, and test facilities. These responsibilities include leading and supporting efforts related to system optimization, test time reduction, and test capability enhancement in support of the Next Generation Jammer (NGJ) Mid Band program. In addition, the candidate will be looked at for guidance in troubleshooting and diagnosing RF and antenna system failures.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and sustain RF and antenna systems, processes, and test facilities
- Lead and support efforts related to system optimization, test time reduction, and test capability enhancement in support of the Next Generation Jammer (NGJ) Mid Band program
- Identify and implement optimizations in electronic systems and test processes
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to complex electronic systems
- Interfere with technical experts and present to upper-level management
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) Major is required.
- Experience in one or more of the following: Matlab, Python, C++, RF Network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope, or Antenna systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to complex electronic systems.
- Ability to identify and implement optimizations in electronic systems and test processes.
- Comfortable interfacing with technical experts and presenting to upper-level management.

Pay
The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD.
