Raw Receiving Operator (Crew B) Ontario, OR

Responsibilities

• Unload raw product into designated bays and bins in an efficient, safe and timely manner.
• Safely pull inspection samples from each truckload and ensure sampling is conducted according to proper procedures.
• Maintain good housekeeping in the receiving area.
• Keep an even and adequate flow of raw product from the receiving bays into the Plant.
• Control pit water and keep the proper blend system going as instructed by the team leader.
• Operate all equipment between bays and Form line bins.
• Keep rocks cleared from flumes, clean rock traps, and take potatoes from rock take-away belt.
• Collect and evaluate the elimination and re-elimination sample.
• Ensure sanitation operations are performed in an efficient manner to meet Company Standards.
• Ensure attendance and participation in training activities appropriate to the position and incorporate acquired skills and knowledge.
• Ensure no injuries to self or others by following safe work practices and policies.
• Ensure self-compliance with Company policies and procedures and Union Labor Agreement.
• Conduct self in a professional manner and ensure personal appearance meets the standards necessary to perform the job function while representing the Company.
• Ensure that additional accountabilities as may be required by management are handled in a manner necessary to meet operational and divisional standards.
• Complete training on the safe operation of the lift truck and successfully pass and maintain certification requirements in accordance with WAC 296-24-230 and WAC 296-24-23025.
• Complete training on fall protection and meet and maintain fall restraint requirements in accordance with WAC 296-155-245 through 24525 and WAC 296-24-75005.

Schedule

Full-time, 6:00 am–6:00 pm

Pay

$24.04 per hour
