Responsibilities
- Make up least cost charges for heats utilizing computer modeling.
- Direct efforts of the Scrap Yard employees.
- Responsible for receipt of raw materials both quality and quantity.
- Order raw materials necessary to meet production requirements.
- Manage Raw Material Inventory and balance inventory with Melt Shop Accountant.
- Monitor performance of operating supplies and inventory.
- Assist in the development, establishment, and monitoring of Safety Rules and Regulations.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities and personnel associated with the charge make up and processing of air melt and remelted products.
Qualifications
- Strong Interpersonal skills
- Organizational skills
- Computer literate
- Problem-Solving ability
- 1-5 years experience
- BS in an Engineering discipline, Materials/Science/Metallurgy degree desirable
