Raw Material Utility - Weekend Day

About the role

This Raw Material Utility position at the Kindig facility in Hanover, PA supports manufacturing operations by receiving, unloading, organizing, and staging raw materials for production. The role requires attention to detail, commitment to safety, and teamwork to ensure accurate inventory management and smooth daily operations in a fast‑paced, hands‑on warehouse environment.

Schedule

Friday – Sunday, 5:25 AM – 5:25 PM; overtime required as needed.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and stages raw materials for production using a forklift.
• Utilizes scanner to move product from location to location within D365.
• Follows receiving raw material protocols.
• Unloads returns from WDC drivers and outside carriers.
• Sorts a variety of skids, plastic, used wood, Chep, and broken skids.
• Rotates between raw material handler, cardboard sorter, and baler operator positions daily.
• Operates vertical or corrugate baler as needed and sorts universal returned cartons from DCs by hand.
• Loads outbound trailers for other warehouse locations and completes loading documents.
• Coordinates trailer movements with National Shipping, WDC, and other facilities using personal communication and email.
• Assists with moving sorted cartons and bales.
• Unloads raw material trailers as needed and stages them in the warehouse.
• Inputs raw material information onto license plates and scans into D365 inventory.
• Maintains integrity of product rows and pulls product in proper code rotation.

Requirements

• Able to obtain and maintain a forklift license.
• Performs rotation and general housekeeping as needed.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Responsible for quality and food safety tasks for the position.
• Maintains a safe and clean dock area.
• Requires working proactively in a cross‑functional team with diverse groups of people.
