About the role

The PTOC Rapporteur position supports the Futures and Concepts Command, Future Warfare Division (FWD). Duties include providing direct support to the Lead Event Planner and Administration team, assisting with event preparation and post-event venue breakdown, and providing administrative support during events as a rapporteur. Attendees are required to travel unaccompanied to US locations supported by the FWD mission on a monthly basis for periods of 3-21 days.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct support to the Lead Event Planner and Administration team.
  • Aid in event preparation and post-event venue breakdown.
  • Assist with administrative support during events as a rapporteur.
  • Attend events and record conversations and issues during meetings.
  • Travel 100% to US locations supported by the FWD mission.

Requirements

  • Current SECRET clearance.
  • Associates degree or higher (preferred).
  • Proficiency in common desktop applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to listen and type simultaneously, follow along during meetings, and produce coherent records.

Pay

Target salary range: $20/hour - $25/hour.

Schedule

Part-time/on-call (PTOC) schedule with events held at the Army War College in Carlisle, PA. The first event is scheduled for 14-26 September and the second on 30 November - 12 December.

Qualifications

Must be able to move, carry, and operate personal computer equipment and related materials.

Skills

Preferred experience working with high-level military and government officials. Must be able to listen and type simultaneously, follow along during meetings, and produce coherent records of events.
