Responsibilities

  • Documenting, packaging and transporting samples in accordance with appropriate project-specific sampling and analysis plans/protocols
  • Maintaining quality control of all assignments and completing documents in a timely manner
  • Following and enforcing company health and safety policies
  • Following technical instructions and guidance
  • Long distance driving and night driving, as needed
  • Routes may include driving into New York City, Baltimore, Philadelphia, and Pittsburgh
  • Routes will be a maximum of 250 miles from Lancaster, PA
  • Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A valid state issued driver’s license to drive delivery vehicles is required as an employee with driving responsibilities
  • Must be able to operate a motor vehicle
  • Must be able to use Smartphone
  • Must be willing and able to drive long distances (4+ hours)
  • Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Qualifications

The ideal candidate would possess:

  • Ability to follow GPS directions
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
  • Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

Schedule

This is a part-time position, on an as-needed basis. Hours will vary throughout the week, with an estimated 15-20 hours/week on average, but may fluctuate week to week. Hours could be during the day, evening, or occasionally on weekends.

Location

Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply. Routes may require driving into New York City, Baltimore, Philadelphia, and Pittsburgh.
