Rapid Response/Code Team Nurse - Nights

Role Overview

Serves as a hospital-wide resource responding to emergency situations such as Code Blue, White, and CAT events, while providing guidance and education to staff on less familiar procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to critical emergencies and assist in patient stabilization.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients/families.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations.
• Educate patients and families on managing illness, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Participate in activities promoting patient safety, quality care, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 2 years of Critical Care or ED experience.
• ACLS certification required.
• RN licensure with a nursing diploma or associate degree; bachelor's preferred.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and professionalism.
