Ranger- PT/Seasonal

What You'll Do

• Walking or patrol of the campground grounds
• Answering questions from guests
• Enforcing rules and ensuring guest safety
• Monitoring the property for any issues or potential problems
• Ensuring proper security of the property
• Ensuring guests comply with resort rules
• Responding to areas of concern and contacting law enforcement if necessary
• Making sure guests have valid access to the campground gate
• Performing routine patrols, golf cart and rental inspections
• Taking camping reservations, checking guests in and out, and selling day passes and items at the store
• Prioritizing guest safety and happiness
• Providing on-call emergency services as required
• Performing other duties as assigned

Skills & Experience You Need

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills
• The ability to use computer applications
• The ability to work in a collaborative team environment
• The ability to assess situations, use quick and reasonable judgment, and resolve problems diplomatically
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• A friendly demeanor
• Experience working in security and/or law enforcement, and/or working in an RV environment (a benefit)
• A valid driver's license, good driving record, and current auto insurance
• The ability to work weekends and holidays on a regular basis
