This position is hands-on and boots-on-the-ground—supporting federal public lands and the families who rely on these rangelands for grazing. It’s meaningful work that blends stewardship, partnership, and daily engagement with the landscape.
Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze vegetation and rangeland health data
- Support grazing permit operations
- Collaborate with grazing associations, ranchers, and partners
- Design and monitor habitat and land improvement projects
- Explore prairie country using trucks and UTVs in all seasons

Pay
$45,000–$80,000 depending on experience and qualifications
