Job Description
We are an 18-lane indoor range with class/meeting rooms, virtual simulator, retail and event area.
- Perform duties of Range Safety Officer
- Provide members and guests with information on the range equipment and perform safety briefings to help maintain a safe range.
- Greet members and guests
- Aid in the rental of firearms
- Clean range(s) at the end of the evening
- Maintain rental firearms (regular cleaning)
- Aid members/guests in choosing a new firearm
- Host shooting events
- Maintain compliance with 4473 and NICS Background check process
- Sell ammunition, memberships, merchandise and other items
- Maintain a clean and safe range
- Perform opening and closing tasks
Additional Duties
If able – teach new shooters with one-on-one instruction
Qualifications
- An individual willing to learn about and enjoy working around the sport of shooting
- Hardworking, honest and friendly to members and guests but also to your fellow staff members
- Able to say “no” when needed
- Experience as a Range Safety Officer and working in a retail environment preferred
