Range Attendant

Harry Semrow Driving Range, located in Des Plaines, IL, is seeking a driven individual for a Part-Time Range Attendant role. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the practice range is open and ready for players in the morning.
• Replace golf balls and clubs in racks for use by driving range patrons.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Keep the clubhouse and practice range areas orderly and clean, including restrooms and trash cans.
• Work closely with Pro Shop staff to prepare for golf operations.
• Implement and support all course policies and programs as communicated by management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager, including a small amount of mowing.

Requirements

• Strong guest service skills.
• Working knowledge of the rules of golf is preferred.
• Ability to learn and enforce course policies, rules, and regulations.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Dependability.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic math skills.
• Regular and reliable attendance.

Pay

$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
