Range Attendant

About the role

Cobbs Creek Golf Club in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a part‑time, seasonal Range Attendant (position will last 6 months or less). The Range Attendant is a key member of the golf operations team, reporting to the Golf Course Head Professional or Assistant Golf Professional, and is responsible for the golf cart fleet and driving range.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the practice range is open and ready for players in the morning.
• Replace golf balls and clubs in racks for use by driving range patrons.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Keep the clubhouse and practice range areas orderly and clean, including restrooms and trash cans.
• Work closely with Pro Shop staff to prepare for golf operations.
• Implement and support all course policies and programs as communicated by management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Requirements

• Strong guest service skills.
• Working knowledge of the rules of golf (preferred).
• Ability to learn and enforce course policies, rules, and regulations.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely.
• Ability to work well in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Dependability and regular, reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One to three months related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic math skills.
