About the role
The Ramp Service Agent (RSA) plays a vital role in ensuring smooth and safe airport operations by performing below-wing functions such as loading and unloading luggage and cargo using conveyor belts or forklifts, transporting items to various airport locations, maintaining ramp and warehouse areas, and marshaling and pushing back aircraft.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload luggage and cargo using conveyor belts or forklifts
- Transport items to various airport locations
- Maintain ramp and warehouse areas
- Marshal and push back aircraft
- Embody safety, integrity, kindness, and performance in all tasks
- Obtain and maintain a SIDA badge for airport access
- Comply with all federal, state, and local employment laws, including nondiscrimination policies and drug testing regulations
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work varied shifts
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and perform tasks outdoors in different weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum age of 18
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
Qualifications
Preferred experience includes knowledge of industrial equipment operations.
Pay
Starting rate of USD $22.58 per hour.
