About the role
An IT Analyst is required to work on a transformation project for the Ralph Lauren Enterprise, transitioning to a world-class Distribution solution and set of processes. Based in North Carolina, this role focuses on delivering capabilities into an existing and new Distribution solution while ensuring support for critical initiatives. The IT Analyst will analyze a complex IT Distribution ecosystem spanning multiple systems, interfaces, countries, and time zones, then work with stakeholders to capture requirements, analyze gaps, and design solutions. A key responsibility includes designing, developing, and testing new capabilities within the Distribution ecosystem while leading internal and external resources.
Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of initiatives to successful completion and provide direction to less senior project resources.
- Perform requirements gathering, analysis, and gap/fit assessments to inform solution design.
- Conduct "As Is" analysis and documentation across multiple systems in a complex IT Distribution landscape.
- Create and maintain documentation, including requirements, business processes, solution designs, functional designs, test strategies, and test scripts at varying levels of detail.
- Manage the implementation of designed solutions, including testing and validation.
- Provide status reports and ensure all required documentation is up to date.
Requirements
- Experience in advanced Distribution solutions, processes, implementation, and support, including Manhattan WMi/PKMS or equivalent systems.
- Experience with the IBM i/iSeries OS is a plus.
- Experience with RPG IV or RPG free programming languages is a plus.
- Experience with MarkMagic is a plus.
- End-user experience with Aldon LMi or similar applications is a plus.
- Advanced project management and leadership skills.
- IT Business Analysis skills relevant to the responsibilities described, including requirements gathering, gap/fit analysis, solution design, and process design.
- Ability to develop test strategies and scripts, execute tests, and validate and report results.
- Experience designing and testing applications and interfaces between internal and external systems to support Distribution capabilities.
- Familiarity with various project methodologies and standards.
- Ability to work in a challenging environment with incomplete documentation, applying problem-solving and self-starting approaches.
- Experience working in organizations with multiple connected systems hosted internally and by external partners.
- Ability to support UAT and provide training if required.
- Experience with the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies is a plus.
- Ability to work across multiple departments and with stakeholders in different countries and companies, managing reviews and sign-offs.
- Strong problem identification, prioritization, and escalation skills.
- Flexibility to manage changing priorities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Ability to work within or lead a team and share information effectively using technology.
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and extended shifts as required.
- Ability to be on call for a week at a time on a rotating basis.
