Responsibilities
- Monitor railroad crossings for safety
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations
- Communicate with workers and the public regarding crossing procedures
- Perform routine inspections of crossing equipment
- Respond to emergencies at railroad crossings
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Knowledge of railroad operations and safety protocols
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in a safety-related field
- First aid certification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
