About the role
Responsible for ensuring the safety of railroad operations by flagging trains and directing traffic at designated crossings.
Responsibilities
- Flag approaching trains and direct pedestrians and vehicles to safe areas.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with train operators and other workers.
- Perform routine inspections of crossing equipment and report any issues.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual labor.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a safety-sensitive role preferred.
- Knowledge of railroad safety protocols and practices.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

Pay
