About the role

The role involves overseeing railroad operations to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Key responsibilities include monitoring train movements, directing traffic, and ensuring all workers adhere to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety at all times by enforcing strict adherence to safety guidelines and procedures.
• Monitor train movements and coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operation.
• Direct traffic and guide workers through hazardous areas.
• Ensure all workers are trained and certified in safety protocols.
• Document all incidents and report them to appropriate authorities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• At least 2 years of experience in a safety-sensitive role.
• Knowledge of railroad safety regulations and procedures.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
• Physical stamina for standing and walking long distances.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

• $20 per hour.

Schedule
