Responsibilities

• Directs train movements to ensure safe and efficient operation
• Maintains signal integrity and ensures proper signaling
• Maintains communication with train crews and other railroad personnel
• Ensures compliance with all federal and state railroad safety regulations

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• At least 2 years of experience in railroad operations or related field
• Knowledge of railroad safety regulations and procedures
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills
• Physical stamina for standing and walking long distances
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Pass a background check and drug screening

Skills

• Knowledge of railroad safety regulations
• Ability to read and interpret signals
• Good decision-making skills under pressure
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Pay

$20-$25 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
