About the role
Responsible for ensuring the safety of railroad operations by flagging trains at designated crossings.
Responsibilities
- Flag approaching trains at designated crossings
- Communicate with train operators via radio
- Ensure all pedestrians and vehicles are clear before signaling trains to proceed
- Document any incidents or near-misses for reporting
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Excellent communication skills
- Physical ability to stand for long periods
Qualifications
- Experience in outdoor work environments
- Knowledge of railroad safety protocols
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
