About the role
The Railcar Repair Technician position involves performing various tasks related to the maintenance and repair of railcars. Responsibilities include inspecting railcars for damage, performing necessary repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Inspect railcars for damage and perform necessary repairs
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards
- Work closely with other maintenance staff to coordinate tasks and ensure timely completion of projects
- Follow all company policies and procedures
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in railcar maintenance or similar field is preferred. Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Qualifications
Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of railcar systems. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
