Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Obtain work instruction from the Plant Services Manager on a daily basis.
- Switch and position railcars in the yard as needed.
- Auxiliary the Bulk Loader in the Pre-inspection / pressurization process.
- Auxiliary the Bulk Loader and Elevator personnel with spotting railcars as needed.
- Remove all seals and placards from railcars to be cleaned.
- Perform a general inspection of the railcar.
- Engage the grain vacuum and clean out the railcar.
- Record all activities and inspection results on the appropriate paperwork.
- Wear the appropriate PPE at all times.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in railcar cleaning or related field preferred.
- Knowledge of railcar cleaning procedures and safety protocols.
- Ability to read and understand work instructions.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Pay
- $21.40 per hour
- $0.15 per hour shift differential
Schedule
Monday – Friday, with additional overtime based on railcar schedules
*2nd Shift: 4:00pm-12:30am
