Barge Cleaner

About the role

Job Summary
Removes residual cargo and cleans the tanks on the barge.
Utilizes hand tools such as brushes or shovels to effectively clean the barges.
Performs job duties to complete work in accordance with client requirements and Company policies, practices and procedures.
Follows company employee policies.
Utilizes proper PPE while cleaning barges.
Individual will prepare/check equipment, enter and exit barges, use cleaning equipment.
Builds expertise in specialty vacuum equipment, confined space entry and varying degrees of manual use hand tools.
Understands and complies with all safety policies and supports continuing awareness for safety.

Requirements

• Ability to work in Confined Space Entries
• Flexible Availability if needed
• Team player
• 18 years of age or older
• Experience is preferred but not required
