Rail Terminal Operator

About the role

This is a full-time, permanent position with on-the-job training – no experience needed! We'll teach you everything you need to know to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Driving company vehicles safely around the yard.
• Spotting and parking intermodal freight trailers.
• Loading and unloading intermodal freight trains.
• Working outdoors in a fast-paced environment.
• Starting as a Jockey Driver/Groundperson – a role that combines driving and ground work.
• Training to become a forklift or crane operator if you prove to be safe and dependable.
• Opportunities to grow into leadership roles.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• Pass a 7-year background check (no felonies in last 7 years or jail time in last 5).
• Pass a drug test & physical capabilities test.
• No diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehousing.
• Delivery driving.
• Forklift operation.
• Landscape work.
• Outdoor labor.
• Railyard work.

Pay & Benefits

• Starts at $20.06/hr.
• After 30 days: $21.24/hr.
• After 6 months: $23.60/hr.
• 401K: $3.00/hr up to 40 hrs/week.
• Up to $45,000–$60,000 your first year.
