Responsibilities
- Prepare railcars for loading
- Drive vehicles onto proper railcars
- Secure vehicles to railcars according to manufacturer and American Association of Railroad standards
- Prepare railcars for transportation at the East Liberty Honda facility
- Drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- Work both indoors and outdoors in extreme weather conditions
- Maintain a positive behavior and conduct in the workplace
- React to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned
- Train new employees and temporary workers
- Inspect vehicles for damage and report any issues
- Maintain a good driving record
Requirements
- Valid State Driver's license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good sense of balance and ability to maintain 3 points of contact
- Ability to work at heights approximately 15 feet above the ground
- Ability to work at a height approximately 15 feet above the ground
- Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Pass the AWC Safe Driving and Rail Safety tests with a 80% or higher accuracy
- Ability to work in tight spaces when loading vehicles
Qualifications
Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English. Must have the ability to adhere to strict quality standards without variance. Must have knowledge of hand tools and be able to pass the AWC Safe Driving and Rail Safety tests with a 80% or higher accuracy.

- Adhere to strict quality standards

Pay
Salary range: $20-25 per hour
Schedule
This position is primarily days Monday - Saturday, 6a-4p, with work ending when the loads are done (usually 8-10 hours).
